With just a few more hours to go until I head over to the Apple store to stand in line for Leopard, I figured I shouldn't go the entire day without some kind of Apple-related post (as when I get home later, I'll probably just be playing with Leopard for hours).
Apple is getting ready to air its first user-created ad, this one for the iPod Touch. The ad is actually an ad-agency behemoth TBWA/Chiat/Day-remake of an ad that was created by an 18-year-old Apple devotee named Nick Haley. He put together the ad with various parts of the public clips on Apple's site and then uploaded it to YouTube - Apple employees then saw it and asked their ad agency to contact Haley. Interestingly, it was actually the song's ("Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex" by CSS) lyrics more than the device that inspired Haley to make the ad.
It has all the makings of an Apple ad, but it might be even a bit more catchy. See it here or below.
