Google Maps Traffic Gets the Green Light

Finally, Google has updated Google Maps to included real-time traffic data. They've had this on the mobile version of Maps for a while, but you can finally view it from any computer with the simple click of a button.

The implementation is very clean looking. I love the two-lane approach, but a key on the map would be nice to tell you which was North-South or East-West...though I guess you should know based on what side you drive on.

It's also kind of cool that it works in satellite mode, though I don't really know why; it's just pretty.

The traffic data currently works in just over 30 cities with surely more to come.

More on it here.

Ha ha. I would really not be surprised at all if they were at work on something like that.
